Chris Paolini
Senior Art Director
As Hoffman’s Senior Art Director, Chris Paolini leads and manages the creative team on all studio projects. He finds great joy in working closely with clients, understanding their practice and philosophy, and channeling discussions into creative, visual narratives. He has been an integral member of the Hoffman team for 8 years (and counting!), over which time he has found deep resonance between the studio’s anthropological design methodology and his academic background — a dual degree in Linguistics and Art from Yale University. He is fascinated by how humans perceive and communicate meaning, both visually and verbally, and he loves applying this focus to branding, strategy, typographic design, art direction, and photography. Outside of the studio Chris loves to cook, bake and explore the culinary scene of the city. He is also an avid rock climber and landscape watercolorist, enjoying time offline and outdoors, surrounded by geology and nature.
Isabel Furtsch
Project Manager
Isabel Furtsch’s creative career traces back to Franklin & Marshall College, where she first studied Art History, Psychology, and Philosophy with a research focus on Exhibition Design, and cultivated an interdisciplinary approach to creative innovation and client relations. After graduating in 2019 and returning to her native New York, Isabel began assisting at a boutique creative talent agency representing artists across mediums, including photographers, set designers and stylists. She has now transitioned into the production world, where she has served as an assistant producer for both commercial and editorial shoots. Isabel also assists the U.S. Director of Wallpaper* Magazine and friend of Hoffman Creative, Michael Reynolds. Outside of the workplace, her multimedia skillset informs her broad literary, artistic, and musical interests.
Neil Spencer
Senior Designer
As one of Hoffman’s core Designers, Neil works closely with clients to realize the full potential of every project — from logos to books, websites, packaging, products, and beyond. Neil brings with him 6 years of experience working in-house at world class art museums with a focus on exhibition design, signage, wayfinding, and internal brand communications. Before joining the team at Hoffman, Neil worked with architects and developers, creating their internal branding and bespoke identities for their projects. He now applies this unique expertise in art and architecture to his design work for Hoffman’s clients. Neil’s inspiration is drawn from photography, local art and music scenes and architecture. You can find him on the weekends with his camera and his bike exploring the city’s many galleries and parks.
Rebecca Goldberg
Designer
Rebecca joined the Hoffman team in 2022 and has continued to hone her practice as a Designer here in the years since. Having studied both English and graphic design at Yale, she brings an eye for language, typography, and print to her work, developing design systems with both aesthetic and narrative resonance. She nurtures her passions for storytelling in New York’s diverse cultural landscape, a frequent attendee of the city’s visual and performing art institutes, cinemas, and colloquia. Her diverse engagement with art inspires her professional design practice, alongside her personal creative practices in fiction writing and fiddle playing.
