Leverone Design, a San Francisco-based interior design studio with an acute architectural sensibility, came to Hoffman for a new brand perspective and website. Our objective was to express the essence of their process—crafting bespoke spaces for their clients—through thoughtful art direction, film, copywriting and graphic design. Our year-long engagement yielded a new brand identity featuring a wordmark of custom letterforms, compositionally inspired by the interplay of light and shadow. Overseeing art direction, Hoffman worked closely with Leverone to establish a new, elegant and humanist approach to project photography and film, celebrating the scale and tactile richness of the physical spaces.
Hoffman approached filmmaker Conor Hagen to capture the internal dynamics of Leverone’s creative process. Through his lens, we communicated a proprietary narrative for the studio’s collaborative nature and design ethos. Prominently featured on Leverone’s new website, the film offers a peek inside a “studio at work” highlighting both the creative collaboration and design rigor required to produce their diverse portfolio.
