Pacific Peninsula Group is a Northern California-based architectural development group, creating extraordinary properties of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Over more than three decades, the Bay-area practice organically grew to encompass four distinct disciplines. This internal development pushed the firm beyond the reach of their previous brand identity and web presence. Hoffman worked to communicate PPG’s expertise by establishing greater online autonomy and expanded narratives for Architecture, Development, Custom Homes and Interiors. This, coupled with the refreshed brand identity and editorially-driven photography and film assets, made for a dynamic portfolio of properties and robust user experience.
Over the course of 2 weeks, Hoffman traveled to California to art direct the photography and filming of over 7 unique PPG properties. Hoffman’s art direction highlighted PPG’s four core offerings and provided focus to the photography by building upon the brand’s architectural narrative and partnering with a team of both a renowned editorial photographer and stylist. Filmmaking provided additional opportunities to capture stories about PPG’s extensive property portfolio and brand services via drone footage and traditional steady-cam motion.
